News and Mailing List Archives
Atlas operates a listbox server, atlas-lb.cern.ch,
providing centralised maintenance and archives of collaboration
mailing lists and
newsgroups.
This service is particularly useful for mailing lists
since the distribution email addresses are, where possible,
maintained from the CERN User database. All mail and
news items are also archived, and available and
searchable through a web interface. We are encouraged
to use the listbox server whenever convenient. A web-based
list management tool,
SIMBA , is
also available.
