Radiation Monitoring Web Page

TOTEM detectors will suffer of a loss of performance over time due to radiation damage via Ionizing Energy Losses (IEL) and Non-Ionizing Energy Losses (NIEL). To better plan the detectors operation, radiation levels in TOTEM are monitored.

This page provides information about the Active and Passive TOTEM Radiation Monitoring (RadMon) systems.
