TagAndProbe Studies for 2012 Z+Jet (Electron) Analysis

A quick setup for users

  • You already have trees from my tree-maker file, so following steps would help to analyse those trees.
  • To make MC-templates use this file:
https://github.com/lovedeepkaursaini/TnP/blob/master/PhysicsTools/TagAndProbe/test/MCtemp/Templates/tempMedium.C

  • this would give you a root file say "Medium.root" which would save MC-templates taken from your TnP-tree for DYJets MC say. You can give this tree as input here:
https://github.com/lovedeepkaursaini/TnP/blob/master/PhysicsTools/TagAndProbe/test/MCtemp/Templates/tempMedium.h

  • There are several files for various selections, you can pick anyone, they all follow similar procedure. Above mentioned ones are for Medium-WP.

cvs co -d PhysicsTools UserCode/Lovedeep/TnP/TnP444/PhysicsTools/

scramv1 b -j 9
cd PhysicsTools/TagAndProbe/test
  • To make ntuples:
cmsRun DataTree.py (for data)
cmsRun setTightTag.py (for mc)
  • To analyse ntuples:
cmsRun mcanalyze.py
