Single top s-channel

Full sim vs Fast sim

Single top s-channel AcerMC 3.5 + Pythia samples produced with full and fast simulation. Atlas realease is 12.0.7.

Event selection

  • 1 reconstructed lepton with Pt>30 GeV.
  • At least two jets with Pt>30 GeV
  • Jet multiplicity <= than 10 (for Pt>30 GeV jets)

Comparison of distributions

We show below the comparison of some kinematical variables distributions between fast (blue) and full (yellow) MC simulation. All distributions are normalized to unity.
