The LBSUMM folder

The DQ selection is based on the COOL folder 'LBSUMM'. The LBSUMM folder contains the combined summary of all types of DQ flags set, containing on/off-line shifter information, automated on/off-line histograms checks, and DCS information (being: detector slow control, describing eg. per sub-detector temperature and voltages for noise levels). When all DQ flags are filled properly, which is currently not yet done for collisions), LBSUMM will be the proper COOL folder to select on DQ flags.

Other DQ folders are:

"SHIFTOFL", "SHIFTONL", "DQCALCOFL", "DQMFOFL", "DQMFONL", "DQMFONLLB", "DCSOFL", "TISUMM", "LBSUMM"

Default: "SHIFTOFL"

The SHIFTOFL folder

The end-user information is currently stored in the DQ flags called SHIFTOFL, meaning "SHIFT OFFLINE" or offline data quality shifter. The the SHIFT OFFLINE DQ flags are currently filled on a daily basis for all runs with more than 100k events.

Selection flags for jets

  • ptag data09_900GeV: project tag denoted "filenameTag" in COOL

Data Quality:

  • dq ATLGL green: Runs where DQ information was reviewed

December's 2009 reproduction

The final DQ summary folders LBSUMM and SHIFTOFL has been recently updated with the results of the December 09 reprocessing; the information is available in the COOL tag

DetStatusLBSUMM-December09-xx.

Based on this COOL tag, good run list selections for jet/ETmiss dESD production can be derived.

Latest:

Good run list selection for preparation of reprocessed data-set 2009 data

For the record, here are the good run lists proposed at Wednesday to prepare the
jetetmiss dESDs.

jetetmiss_noindet_900GeV.xml    = 900GeV runs w/o indet requirements - runs w/ indet requirements
jetetmiss_windet_900GeV.xml      = 900GeV runs w/ indet requirements
jetetmiss_woindet_2TeV.xml = 2.4 TeV runs w/o indet requirements (there are no 2.4 TeV runs w/ indet ok)

There are additional good run lists that require in addition the jet and met DQ flags to be green,
the output of which will be made available in the dESDs as per-event skim-decision objects. All xml files are attached in the bottomo of the page.
