Today's Meeging

TGC Online SW

Configuration SW

• Add a segment to be able to use pattern generator for A-Side (requested by Satoshi)
  • Edit OKS xml files, but not tested yet because Satoshi and Daniel are using the standalone partitions (part_TGC and part_TGC2).
• Check functionality of the library for VME counter
  • read Orbit, TestPulseTrigger and clock in Test pulse mode --> OK

Configuration Database

• Test new DB API (TGChwRepresentation)
  • retrieve parameters from Oracle --> OK
    • modify product name to generate some attribute names (side, sector, phi, etc...)
    • implement some new methods provided from David yesterday to get parameters from Oracle.
      • Current Configuration for FE_Config, FE_Mask and FE_Trigger is called as COSMICS
  • download to real hardware --> NG
    • parameters of SSW for SL are included in the parameter set for Big Wheel.
    • The configuration class (TGCFEConfig) assume that the instance configure only one CCI.
      • The class throws an error message when parameters for more than 2 CCIs are registered.
    • ask Daniel to change sectorMask as follows (same as text-base database);
      • SSW for SL --> A15
      • Inner station --> A13 and A14
  • compare with text files --> NG
    • About half of the parameters are still inconsistent.
    • It seems that the parameters from Oracle are set to default value.
    • David refers the correct files to import them to Oracle. --> API error!? (ask Daniel)
