Introduction

The aim of this subgroup is to study the properties of the top quark except for its mass (for which there is a dedicated subgroup). Most of the analyses use top quark pair events which decay through the single lepton or di-lepton modes. Additional final states are considered for the searches for Flavour Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) and other rare processes. The top properties group also follows searches for new physics in top pair production and similar final states, these are usually formally hosted in our sister subgroup from Exotics, the HQT group, with occasional shared meetings and joint Top/Exotics approval.
