VBFNLO (Vector Boson Fusion at Next-to-Leading Order) is a Monte Carlo cross-section generator for such processes as pp -> WWγ -> lνlνγ. The project website can be reviewed for all the generator's capabilities, including what processes are possible to generate, as well as a list of authors and a downloadable copy of the program.

Bastian Feigl has explained: In VBFNLO, the number of events is not input directly for the LesHouches output; however, the variable LO_POINTS is used to set the number of attempts for weighted events that are started in each phase space. These attempts are before cuts etc. and work towards the number of generated unweighted events (which is significantly smaller in number than the weighted events attempted). The number of generated events is displayed at the end of each VBFNLO run as the cross section. The unweighting efficiency also depends on how well VEGAS could adapt the integration grid, which is process dependent. Therefore, increasing the number of iterations can also increase the number of unweighted events.
